I discovered photography way back at school, when one of my classmates showed me some prints he had made after developing his own film. I was quite excited by that and quickly had a darkroom set up in old coal cellar (minus the coal :). With my own developing tank and enlarger I experimented with colour printing (in pitch darkness! - not easy at all). I even tried colour transparencies very successfully with 3M Ferraniacolour film, which was easily processed at home. I discovered that the keyhole in the coal cellar made a wonderful camera obscura and gave me an image of the garden on the wall (and had to be block when I was using the darkroom
